 Scouting the Desert Sea . . .

Well, here it is:  Lalo Cove.  You will be diving in and around this beautiful location for three days; snorkelling is good, too--especially in the shallow waters along the rocky shores to either side of the cove's center.  The middle area is generally sandy, and around 20-30 feet deep: a perfect, gentle place for your Open Water training dives.  Afterwards, we plan to take you for a spectacular tour along the spit of land that you can see extending out from the coast.  Plenty of fish, plenty of flora--in short, a diving paradise.  Are you psyched yet?

Marina Real (right side of photo) is the launching point for Tucson Scuba Center boat dives.  Depending on conditions, we may have the chance to take a short run on one our boats to a snorkelling site nearby Lalo Cove.  If so, you'll be in for a real treat!

Deer Island (in the distance) is just one of many spots that are fantastic for divers with some more experience.  When you take your Advanced Open Water course, and on future Fun Dive trips, you'll be able to visit Deer Island, the unforgettable 350-foot long sunken ferry, and plenty of other enthralling locations around San Carlos.  It's world-class diving, and it's just a few hours drive from Tucson.

Are you ready?
We'll see you there this weekend!
