This educational journey visits three nearby yet very different communities
on the eastern coast of the Sea of Cortez. Although the climate and
natural environments of these three areas are relatively similar,
the inhabitants, their cultures, their ways of lives & their built
environments are quite distinct.
By studying the interconnected histories, cultures and everyday lives
of these three groups, travellers with IRI will move towards a better understanding
of the causes and effects of these very different approaches to living
with the desert sea.
