The Intercultural Research Institute provides accredited educational experiences for student-travelers and works to reshape stereotypical preconceptions through educational and promotional publications.   The resources generated by these educational programs support I.R.I.'s activist work within the host societies:  consulting and facilitation for sustainable, non-dependent regional development.  World Encounters are also excellent venues for conducting research in cultural studies, economics, sociology, ecology, linguistics, and other related disciplines.
